WW Soccer Tournament 2023 – “Turbine Kerbschlag” takes the cup
After a break of three years, the annual WW soccer tournament finally took place again last Thursday – a friendly competition between the chairs of the department.
Despite minor adversities such as the weather, which was very mixed in the meantime, the atmosphere was great. All participants were eagerly engaged in the hunt for the coveted challenge cup, cheered on by enthusiastic fans and friends.
After an exciting final match, the team “Turbine Kerbschlag” from the chair WW1 defeated the final opponent “Dynamo Schmiedehammer” from the chair WW2 in a penalty shootout with 4:3.
Traditionally, the tournament day was concluded with a joint barbecue celebration, during which Dagmar Senft, the department’s new office manager, ceremoniously presented the trophy to the winning team.
