On September 30, 2021, Prof. Dr. Michael Zaiser finished his tenure as spokesman for the Department of Materials Science and Engineering.
His successor is Prof. Dr. Erdmann Spiecker, head of the Institute of Micro- and Nanostructure Research. The office of deputy department spokesman is taken over by Prof. Dr. Mathias Göken.
The term of office is two years.
